Meet Hinterland Floral Co.

Owner/Lead Designer

Since its conception in 2020 Hinterland Floral Co has been a creative and educational endeavor, driven by my own curiosity of growing flowers and floral design. It has been lovingly coaxed from a place of novice excitement to confident design, thanks in large part to the mentors who have guided me and hired me and helped me grow. Through freelancing for other florists and also taking on a work/trade position with a local grower my knowledge of florals literally bloomed. I enjoyed taking my time learning all of the flowers by name, how they grow, are maintained, and harvested. This experience in the field has given me a deeper connection and appreciation of the plants I incorporate into this art form. It is my humble intention to connect my community with carefully and consciously created florals for their events and spaces.

I believe in sourcing from local growers. I seek out cultivators that care about the health of their soil, their impact on the land they occupy, and the naturally non-toxic product they put into consumers' hands and homes. I source from local producers to cut down on packaging waste, transportation pollution, and to support our home community of growers. You will find local flowers in all of our offerings during the peak growing season June-September.

Our floral business offers bespoke arrangements for weddings and intimate events, ensuring every occasion blooms with beauty and elegance. Enjoy our unique Stem Bar, where you can create your own bouquets, or subscribe to our Summer Floral Subscription for seasonal flowers delivered to your door. We also provide freelancing services and a convenient online store for all your floral needs.

Floral deliveries

Join our summer flower subscription for a summer brimming with the freshest, most bountiful blooms around! Deliveries are bi-weekly on Wednesdays, offered in Incline Village and Crystal Bay.

New this year is a pickup option at Tahoe Gifting Co. located in the Christmas Tree Village in Incline.

Flowers are sourced from a fantastic family farm in Grass Valley, Sweet Roots Floral, who are committed to sustainable and organic farming practices. We work closely with the farmers to harvest the freshest blooms and deliver them expediently, ensuring they last the longest possible time in your homes and businesses.

STEM BAR

Bring in an interactive, fun element to your next birthday celebration, bridal shower, bachelorette party, or wedding reception! HFC provides a full floral display, take-home vessels, and all supplies needed for guests to create their own arrangement to take with them. Starting at $1200 - price does not include setup/delivery cost.

Enjoy a full summer of colorful blooms! Starting in June you’ll receive a bi-weekly delivery of freshly cut flowers arranged in a bespoke vase. Flowers are sourced from our friends at Sweet Roots Farm in Grass valley, and are lovingly, organically grown. The vase life of these flowers is typically much longer than store bought blooms, as they are cut and delivered to you

Alternatively a pick-up option is available in Incline Village NV at Tahoe Gifting Co. Save on delivery costs by choosing this option. Arrangements will be available for pickup starting at 4PM on Wednesdays.
