Meet Hinterland Floral Co.

Owner/Lead Designer
Since its conception in 2020 Hinterland Floral Co has been a creative and educational endeavor, driven by my own curiosity of growing flowers and floral design. It has been lovingly coaxed from a place of novice excitement to confident design, thanks in large part to the mentors who have guided me and hired me and helped me grow. Through freelancing for other florists and also taking on a work/trade position with a local grower my knowledge of florals literally bloomed. I enjoyed taking my time learning all of the flowers by name, how they grow, are maintained, and harvested. This experience in the field has given me a deeper connection and appreciation of the plants I incorporate into this art form. It is my humble intention to connect my community with carefully and consciously created florals for their events and spaces.
I believe in sourcing from local growers. I seek out cultivators that care about the health of their soil, their impact on the land they occupy, and the naturally non-toxic product they put into consumers' hands and homes. I source from local producers to cut down on packaging waste, transportation pollution, and to support our home community of growers. You will find local flowers in all of our offerings during the peak growing season June-September.
